For our next event in Fukuoka we take a look back at one of the difinitive sounds of the Bristol scene Massive Attack ‘Blue Lines’.

Massive Attack’s “Blue Lines” hybrid of soul, reggae, jazz and slow burnin’ grooves is a club and post-rave come-down classic album. It arose out of the Bristol underground dance scene spearheaded by The Wild Bunch and in turn, was the predecessor to albums such as DJ Shadow’s “Endtroducing” and Portishead’s “Dummy”.
