Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard and Alexis Taylor joined Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy for a special Classic Album Sundays session celebrating 20 years of The Warning by Hot Chip at Hidden Groove in London and the interview is now available as a podcast on the CAS website.
Released in 2006, the band’s second album marked a turning point, balancing off-kilter electronics with deeply human songwriting, and featuring enduring tracks like ‘Over and Over’ and ‘Boy from School’.
The event was truly special and Alexis even brought along the Casio keyboard they used on the album and gave us a demo! Thanks to Vivian Thi Tang for the photo.
Thanks for listening.
