Classic Album Sundays’ Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy and Global Communication’s Tom Middleton will discuss the influence of space on his work including 76:14, Reload’s A Collection of Short Stories, Jedi Knights’ New School Science and his new ​Sci-Fi / Sci-Fact GCOM ​concept album​; an imaginary ​soundtrack to ​anthropocene ​man’s search for a habitable exoplanet ​in ​our neighbouring star s​ystems​. The interview will be augmented by playbacks of these works and Tom’s inspirations Tomita, Vangelis and Jean Michel Jarre on an audiophile hi-fi sound system courtesy of Grahams Hi-Fi, Rega, Naim and Bowers & Wilkins.

Tom Middleton is a world renowned pioneer and polymath of electronic music, with previous roles as an orchestral cellist, graphic designer, producer, DJ, sound architect, psychoacoustic sound designer and researcher and has recently added sleep science coach to his skills.
