Classic Album Sundays will join this years Spitalfields Music Festival with composer, alto-saxophonist and MC Soweto Kinch on Thursday 6th July at 7:30pm.
A two-time MOBO award-winner and Mercury Prize nominee, Soweto is one of the most versatile voices in the both the British jazz and hip hop scenes, performing worldwide. He is also a TV and radio broadcaster, while his albums have been inspired by topics including the international race riots of 1919, an aspiring rapper possessed by each of the seven deadly sins, bird song and cymatic patterns.
For this special event, we will be supported by Danley Distribution. Danley’s unique, patented loudspeaker technology reaches the hearts and ears of every audience member and with fewer speakers, better sightlines and more control. Pure, unadulterated audio moves an audience like nothing else and that’s exactly what Danley and Classic Album Sundays do.
