Kate Bush has inspired a myriad of artists including Bjork, Tori Amos, Florence and the Machine and Bat for Lashes. With “Hounds of Love” she not only produced herself in her brand new 24 track studio housed in a barn on her parent’s farm, but she also married conceptual experimentation with pop conciseness and haunting moods with beautiful melodies. Her tightly constructed song cycle proved to be her biggest hit on both sides of the Atlantic.
