Here is the list of album suggestions from our September Sunday monthly and the Bestival sessions so this is a biggie! You will find Todd Rundgren next to The Sex Pistols (that does make me giggle) and Duke Ellington next to Queens of the Stone Age (“Songs for the Deaf” on a hi-fi? Why not?). There are loads of hip hop suggestions obviously from the DJ Shadow session and what’s with all the references to our four-legged furry friends (Deerhoof, The Antlers, “Dragging A Dead Dear Up a Hill”)?
Joni Mitchell’s “Blue” was once again suggested and that will be our featured album on 6 November at The Hanbury Arms. Hope you can join us at one of our future CAS events so you can suggest your own favourites.
