The former Ash Ra Tempel guitarist Manuel Göttsching will be our special guest to discuss the creation of an album that almost wasn’t an album, yet went on to inspire influential dance producers such as Sueno Latino, Carl Craig, Juan Atkins and Derrick May. Read more about the album here.
Doors will open at 6 pm so that guests can order food from Brilliant Corners’ fabulous kitchen prior to the event start (you can see their yummy Japanese menu here)
At 7 pm, CAS founder Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy will interview Manuel about E2-E4 and they will also discuss some of his own influences, inspirations and intriguing musical history (to get yourself prepped you can check out Manuel’s personal favourite albums here).
This will be followed by an uninterrupted vinyl playback of E2-E4 on our audiophile hi-fi and will wrap with a Q&A with Manuel with our intimate audience.
