This week’s episode of Behind The Counter season 6 features Bending Sound Records in Bangor, Northern Ireland.
“I think every town needs a record shop. It’s really important that like minded people, who have a passion for music and vinyl have somewhere physical to go. We opened on Record Store Day in 2017. The Taylor Swift year was incredible, it brought a whole new audience who are so enthusiastic and embracive of the format.”
Behind The Counter is a 12-part video series that tells the stories from the wonderful world of independent record shops.
Presented by Classic Album Sundays and Record Store Day UK, in partnership with Bowers & Wilkins. A new episode will drop every Tuesday in the run up to #RSD25, sharing the unique stories from around the UK.
