Legendary DJ and producer François Kevorkian joins Kent Horne in Oslo for the third year in a row in our series of surround listening sessions. From the previous years Miles Davis’ ‘Bitches Brew’ in 4.1 and Steely Dans ‘Gaucho’ in 5.1, we are back with a quadrophonic recording known for its spectacular soundscapes, the one producer Alan Parsons finished on demand from EMI records after the release of the original recording in 1973. Never confirmed by the band, it wasn’t released until recently.
François will join us to discuss the stories behind the recording, the original and the 4.1 version followed by a full album playback on our world class audio system provided by Duet Audio.
