Da Lata had formed in the early nineties as an evolution from an earlier band project, Batu, the production duo of musician Chris Franck and DJ Patrick Forge has proved to be an enduring partnership, as they prepare to release their fifth album, Edge Of Blue in October.
Songs From The Tin is best known for the club anthem ‘Pra Manha’ and the Ibiza chill-out classic ‘Cores’, but it goes deeper. Find out more as Da Lata join Colleen “Cosmo” Murphy as they explore their debut album. After the interview, Songs from The Tin will be played in its entirety on vinyl on Hidden Grooves audiophile sound so that listeners can hear new details and nuances in the recording. Afterwards guests will have the opportunity to ask Patrick and Chris their own questions during a Q&A. So come along, settle into Hidden Groove’s Hi-Fi cocktail lounge and savour a perfectly mixed drink while experiencing the album the way it was meant to be heard: on vinyl, in full, and in crystal-clear sound.
