We were proud to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Amy Winehouse’s debut album with Island Records. The setting was the Amy Winehouse: For You I Was A Flame exhibition at Proud Camden Gallery and all of the ticket proceeds went to the Amy Winehouse Foundation.
It was a special evening where we got to hear some of Amy’s early demos and the story of her musical career from her first manager Nick Shymansky and Island president Darcus Beese. And her dad Mitch Winehouse took the stage and told some great stories about Amy’s generosity.
The album sounded great on the Linn Products, Bowers & Wilkins and Naim Audio sound system provided by Grahams Hi-Fi.
A top night in tribute to the Queen of Camden.
