We’ve been so excited about our September Album of the Month and it’s a pleasure to finally announce it: David Bowie’s 1977 magnum opus, Heroes. A classic among classics in this legend’s discography, and the climactic second album in his Berlin Trilogy, Heroes was and still is the definition of cool. Filled with both ambient beauty and huge tunes from “Beauty and the Beast” to “Blackout” to the monumental title track, its unforgettable fusion of the epic and the experimental helped to cement Bowie’s legacy for good. Heroic, indeed. In full, on vinyl and in audiophile hi-fi – and in a roomful of no doubt highly emotional fans in the Velvet Lounge at The Beauchamp Hotel – this should be a very special listening experience!
Note: For this listening party we will be hosting TWO SEPARATE SESSIONS, to accomodate more attendees. The sessions will take place back-to-back on Sunday September 29. The 1st SESSION opens at 4:30 PM, and the 2ND SESSION opens at 7:15 PM. Before you purchase, make sure to click on the CORRECT TIME for the session you wish to attend.
