Classic Album Sundays founder Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy will be joined by Brett Anderson and Mat Osman to celebrate the 30th anniversary Suede’s Dog Man Star at The Royal Albert Hall’s Elgar Room on Sunday, the 13th October at 6:30 pm.
Join Colleen and Suede’s Brett Anderson and Mat Osman as they explore the stories behind the making of the band’s sophomore album. Dog Man Star reached number 3 on the UK Album Chart and smashed through the nascent boundaries of Britpop. It has garnered even more veneration with the passing decades and is a natural choice for National Album Day celebrations.
After the interview, Dog Man Star will be played uninterrupted and in its entirety on a world class audiophile sound system featuring Danley loudspeakers so that listeners can experience the album in full detail. Danley Sound Labs unique, patented technology reaches the hearts and ears of every audience member and with its high quality, high impact sound, Danley transforms the listening experience. These technologies can now be enjoyed in the studio and home with Danley’s new range of HiFi and Studio monitors.
After the playback, audience members will have the opportunity to ask the band members their own questions. Join us to experience Dog Man Star in a way you never have before.
Now in its seventh edition, National Album Day celebrates the ‘art of the album’ and this year will take place on Saturday 19th October with the theme of Great British Groups.
