Our friends at Loud + Clear are hosting special events including a Classic Album Sundays Listener’s Choice session during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Friday 16th August 6pm to 9pm

Loud & Clear’s first ever girls only event, organized by girls, with girls and for girls. Amy Duncan and Fiona Soe Paing will be joining us to share their experiences. The evening will feature discussions, presentations, demos and live music, all in a very relaxed and informal atmosphere.

Saturday 17th August 11am – 5pm

If there’s anything in your collection you’d rather not have come to our special music swap-shop between 11am and 2pm. Note: Maximum of 2 items per person.

This will be followed by our very own Audiophile Question Time with an experts panel who will share their knowledge on the music process: Steve Adey , Rob Wilson, Michael Whiteside and Linn Records. The afternoon which will conclude with a live music set.

Sunday 18th August 12pm – 4pm

We will wrap up the weekend with a Classic Album Sundays session. Join us from 12pm for some refreshments. At 2pm, the lights go down and the volume goes up: switch off your phone, sit back, listen and immerse yourself in this communal and audiophile listening experience.

The featured album was by vote and The Listener’s Choice winner is the album also known as Rock’s Greatest Soap Opera. Of course, we are talking about Fleetwood Mac’s “Rumours”!
