Classic Album Sundays presents Neil Young’s ‘Harvest’

The influence Neil Young’s seminal classic ‘Harvest’ has had on music culture is immeasurable. Its visceral mix of melancholic folk anthems and pastoral classics captured the feel of a generation disillusioned by the dissolution of the Sixties’ idealism. Neil Young, the sobering voice of the early 1970’s, gave the youth of the sixties music to cling to for the future. Read more about the album here.

Join us to first listen to music that either inspired or was relevant to this LP such as Crosby, Stills Nash & Young, Joni Mitchell and Johnny Cash followed by the story of the album. Then the lights go down, the volume goes up and we play the album from beginning to end on vinyl on our audiophile hi-fi. Listening guidelines apply.

We will also have exclusive, limited edition ‘tour’ posters for this event courtesy of The Flood Gallery. The posters were designed, numbered and signed by the artist Zeb Love and will be available at our listening sessions and online post-event (scroll down to have a look!).
