Classic Album Sundays presents Jake Long performing Miles Davis ‘Bitches Brew’ at The Jazz Café Video

The interview and full live performance from our evening at The Jazz Café in London with Jake Long, bandleader of London-based jazz ensemble Maisha and sideman in Joe Armon Jones and Maxwell Owin’s Idiom project can now be viewed. Jake leads a rendition of Miles Davis’ classic 1970 spiritual jazz album Bitches Brew on Monday 5th March. A colossal work spanning over 90 minutes of music, the record showcased Davis at the peak of his creative powers, as well as opening the gate for the inception of the jazz rock genre.
